Day & Sunset Cruises

Both cruises sail past Red Beach, White Beach and the Venetian Lighthouse, swim at the volcanic hot springs and Mesa Pigadia, and serve lunch or dinner on board. The Gold cruise also swims at Red Beach. The Platinum cruise swims at Thirassia instead, serves a seafood menu with unlimited wine and beer, and sails a Lagoon 450 or 52.

Absolutely! Our catamarans are stable and designed for comfort, so seasickness is rare. Swimming is completely optional: you can relax on board, enjoy the food and drinks, and admire the views without entering the water. Our crews are certified and follow maritime safety rules.

Up to 20 guests on our semi-private cruises, Gold and Platinum. For a group of your own, see our private catamaran (up to 20) or motor yacht (up to 10).

Woof! Bring sunscreen and sunglasses, and wear your swimsuit under your clothes. We provide towels, snorkeling gear, diving masks and life jackets on board. Don’t forget your camera! A light jacket is recommended for sunset cruises.

The Gold cruise swims at Red Beach, the volcanic hot springs and Mesa Pigadia, and sails past White Beach, the Indian Rocks and the Venetian Lighthouse. The Platinum cruise swims at Mesa Pigadia, the hot springs and Thirassia. Both also sail along the caldera cliffs.

Woof! On the Gold cruise: Greek finger food, chicken BBQ, pasta napolitana, Greek salad, a vegan ratatouille and Greek yogurt with sour cherry, with an open bar of Moschofilero white wine, soft drinks and water. On the Platinum cruise: finger food, a BBQ of chicken and pork, seafood linguine, Greek salad and anchovy meze, with unlimited white wine, beer and soft drinks.

We swim at the volcanic hot springs of Palea Kameni, but the semi-private cruises don’t stop for the crater hike on Nea Kameni. On private motor yacht tours over 5 hours you can add the hike.

About 5 hours: the day cruise about 4.5 hours, starting 9:00–10:00, and the sunset cruise about 5.5 hours, starting 14:00–15:00, depending on the season.

From Vlychada Marina on the south coast. Hotel pickup and drop-off are free from anywhere on the island: Fira, Oia, Kamari, Perissa, Akrotiri and more.

For June to August, book 2 to 3 weeks ahead, especially for sunset cruises. In September and October a few days ahead is usually enough.

Our semi-private catamaran cruises cost from €85 per person on the Gold cruise and from €96 per person on the Platinum cruise. A private cruise is priced per boat: from €825 for the motor yacht and from €1,044 for the catamaran. Book directly with us for the best rates. Yes. Our catamarans have toilets, shade inside and under the bimini, and sun on the front deck.

Yes. Babies are welcome and travel on a parent’s lap, and life jackets and pool noodles are on board. With young children the morning cruise usually works better than the sunset. More in our guide to boat trips with children.

If we cancel because of the weather, you choose another date or a full refund. In July and August the meltemi, a dry north wind, usually builds in the afternoon, so the morning cruise is the calmer of the two.

About 30–35°C at the source, warmer than the sea around it, and the iron in the water turns it orange-brown. Wear a dark swimsuit and leave jewelry on board.
